Actually, someone else pointed it out and I gave it a listen but what the guy say is 一夫多妻制 (Ipputasaisei) so polygyny which makes the most sense from the excitement of the men. Whoever

That makes a lot more sense, it was weird how it specified only women marrying multiple men but not vice versa.

In the LN, the one who promised polyandry (and the lower age of marriage and legalized incest) for their campaign was actually a woman, Zesta's secretary. They kept the line here but changed the character.

Edit: Also the fan translation and the official translation of the LN both just say polygamy.
